Promotion of physical education and sports a)SPORTS Sports provides variety of opportunities and plays several roles in lives of student. All students are unique individuals and, so such, they are different in their approach to sport participation, in their desires, interests, involvements and commitments. At the same time, sports provides many of the same things to all students. Sports are a physical activity, social activity, and it provides an identity. In the sports setting, students learn to work successfully in a team to gain respect for differences in philosophies, values, temperaments, and convictions. Participants are exposed to authority figures and to the chain of
